The Niemegk Nordwald is a specific regeneration project by forest.ly, through which we are restoring weakened areas to a resilient, species-rich mixed forest . We create conditions under which nature can return – with native tree species, healthy soils, and genuine habitats for animals, plants, and fungi.
Our approach focuses on natural regeneration rather than monocultures: We promote natural forest development and supplement it where appropriate with targeted planting of species suited to the location. In this way , step by step, a living ecosystem is created that stores CO₂ , protects water and air , and ensures long-term biodiversity.

We work with local partners and technical experts, documenting progress and monitoring developments to ensure that progress remains traceable.
